OUR AIM |
The Claire Taylor Trust was founded in honour of the late Claire Taylor who died both very suddenly and at a very young age.
We have a firm belief that Claire's death will not be in vain and we will endeavour to keep her name and spirit alive by founding this trust in her name.
Yet there are many more children who are fighting to stay alive. Whether it be at the hands of life threatening illnesses or injury, as Claire was,
or fighting, poverty, abuse and learning difficulties as part of their every day childhood. These children can all have the beginnings of a wonderful future if
we can help by providing support.
We do not begin to think that we can solve great social failings or conquer life threatening diseases but during Claire's illness and attempted recovery certain things became very evident.
There is a severe lack of specialist equipment, personnel and facilities at hand in the fight against illness or abuse
Needless to say that the social and medical services perform wonderful yet tireless tasks and the benefit of improved facilities and specialist machinery would
help make the life of an underprivileged or abused child or the recovery from life threatening illness seem a little more achievable, both to the children and the professionals.
